Cafe

Ah, Bucharest.  A lovely old city, full of grandeur.

And the coffee and pastries are fucking fantastic.

Too bad I don't have time to see much of the city.  Just the high points, the stuff around the square.  We got the nickel tour earlier today from some rep of the promoter, but there's only so much you can see from inside a van with a police escort, ha ha.

Another great city I'd like to come back to.  With Cate.

And Roxy.  Though she probably wouldn't appreciate the history or architecture, ha ha.

Had a lovely Skype-date with my Wife last night.  Well, her last night -- my early morning.  We've started a little ritual, one we'll follow for the next few weeks.  Every night we can, we'll get on Skype and have a glass of wine together and talk.  Even if we can only do it for 10 minutes or so, at least we'll try to see each other every day, until Cate gets here at the end of the month.

Wish we'd thought of this before.  Of course now that there are only a handful of shows left we get smart, ha ha.

I still miss her like crazy but it does make things a little easier.

So last night she was in the bath when she Skyped.  That was nice.  Real nice.  Heh heh.  Though I still couldn't convince her to leave the cam on when she got out of the tub.  She sat there surrounded by her bubbles with her glass of red while I sat in my hotel room on my couch with my glass of iced PG and my hard-on.

My Wife just smirked at me and swished the water around so I could kinda-sorta-but-not-really see her tits.  Tease.

Cate said after a day with the Chuckleheads she was feeling her age, ha ha.  They had a fun day together, but she was glad to take them back to Dorothea when it was all over.  They went to the playpark in the morning and hit the batting cages and played mini golf and drove those crazy bumper-boat things.  Then after lunch they went to the movies.  Saw "The Zookeeper" which Cate said was hysterical.  She thought Romey was gonna pee his pants he was laughing so hard.

Russell liked it too.  Though apparently he was a little afraid of the lion.  Considering the lion was voiced by Sly Stallone, I can see why.  "Yo.  Russell."  Ha ha.

Wish I was there to do that with them.

Next month I'm going out to the Hamptons House and just lay around and breathe and not much else.  Of course I'll have the Chuckles for a whole week by myself, before they go back to school.  So there probably won't be much laying around or breathing then.  But it will be good.  I miss my Little Buddies.

Jesus Christ they have HUGE pigeons here in Bucharest.  These fucking things are the size of geese!  Good thing Russell's back home; they'd probably carry him off and eat him, ha ha.  As it is one of these motherfuckers has his eye on the rest of my pastry.

I may have to let him have it.  He looks a little crazy.

Can pigeons be rabid?

Anyway, looking forward to the show tonight.  It's gonna be neat, doing it in the plaza instead of some stadium.  These beautiful old buildings as a backdrop; history past and history in the making.  Gonna be a unique energy tonight, I can feel it.

Cate's gonna stay in today and watch the feed; she said she just needs a lazy day around the house after yesterday's Chucklehead Adventure.  She didn't get to catch much of the Istanbul show on the feed because she got sucked into something at work.  And here I stripped for her and everything, ha ha.  It will be nice to know she's with me today, through the miracle of sat-feed.

Well, better finish my coffee and get moving.  And feed this damned pigeon before he pounces on me.

Dressing Room

I don't care what Cate says.  I think I'm being sexually harassed via fortune cookie message.

"You bring a whole new meaning to the word "edible"."

Can't decide if I feel flattered or objectified....
